Another successful year of Christmas in the Park
Let me start by saying, another successful year has come and gone for Cuero’s Christmas in the Park. We are fortunate enough to have such an extravagant display in our great City.
I am so sorry for our delay in thanking everyone for all they did to make this year another great success. Unfortunately I was unable to participate in much of the Christmas celebrations due to having pneumonia, so I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for taking my place, while I was out.
There are no words to say how proud I am that we had another great year and for everyone that stood out in the cold.
A huge thank you goes out to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Stevenson Unit and Warden Beard for the hard working and dedicated men that always do a great job at helping our city make this such a success! The City of Cuero personnel have played an intricate role in the setting up/take down of displays. Without the help of you, Cuero’s Christmas in the Park would not be possible.
Thank you to all of the organizations that help so much in collecting donations at Santa’s House. We will continue to do everything in our power to continue to provide this free event.
Thanks to the local businesses that sponsored Hot Chocolate Nights in December. Thank you to HEB, McDonalds, Pioneer Natural Resources, and of course, Joe Adams and his family. Those of you that filled in on so many evenings thank you and a special thank you goes out to the Cuero Police Department for their untiring work. Thanks to Mayor Meyer and Alton Meyer for their everyday help in the park.
Special thanks to Samantha Solis and Pat Kennedy with the CDC!
Thank you Cuero,
