With over two decades of workforce development experience, Henry Guajardo shared the current programs within Workforce Solutions of the Golden Crescent and how they are expanding at the Sept. 7 Cuero Development Corporation Community Leaders’ Meeting. Guajardo is the executive director of the organization.
A native of Victoria, Guajardo has family on his father’s side ranging back to his great-grandfather who are buried at the Thomaston cemetery in DeWitt County.
DeWitt County is one of the seven counties which comprises Workforce Solutions of the Golden Crescent. They have programs ranging from helping individuals find employment to school dropout prevention, childcare and more. Childcare encompasses over $3 million of their annual budget.
