Last Friday, the Yorktown VFW Auxiliary held their Bunco night at the VFW Post north of town. Roughly sixty players RSVP’d for the event, and ladies both young and young at heart came out to roll diceall evening while enjoying wonderful fellowship, a potluck buffet, and just a real good time in general.

When all was said and done, Kimber McRory came out ahead with the most Buncos, with Sydney Krueger taking the least aces. The proceeds from the night will be used to support the Fisher House, Texas Veteran Program, Audie Murphy VA Hospital, The Intrepid Center, Youth Programs, Field of Honor, scholarships and the diabetes program.

The members of the Auxiliary would like to thank all that came out and enjoyed the evening in addition to supporting their programs throughout the year. For those interested in joining, the Auxiliary is open to the husbands, wives, widowers, widows, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, and brothers or sisters of persons who are eligible for VFW membership.
