The West came back to town

Western Days was celebrated from Oct. 15-17 with friends and family enjoying the event for the first time since 2019.

Events such as the grand parade, car show, and a pig scramble returned, and several notable bands came to the stage, including the Bellamy Brothers, Spazmatics, and Casey Donahew.

On Saturday, the tractor show, quilt show, Ole West Gunfighters, a stick horse rodeo, mutton busting, and the pig scramble were held. Other, all-day events, were also held, such as hay dives and horseshoe and washer pitching. The car show, cornhole competition, children’s tractor pull, and others were held on Saturday.
